This is not a modding question per say but here goes... I'm having a real hard time playing backed up games ( slow loading times and backups are loading slower everytime i play them ) I'm thinking its my laser needing adjusting. So i gave it a shot then i ruined my laser ribbon cable so i ordered another one and its on the way. But my question is this. I do not have the cable in but i still wanted to start it up and check if i hurt anything else. Well now it will not even eject. I start it up and the red light comes on the reset button, if i push either button ( reset or eject) the ps2 starts up. But when pushing the eject button i get no light and the tray does not budge. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
