My pioneer DVR-106D worked fine with TDK DVD+RW (assume 2.4x because without writing speed marked on the cover).
When I used Imation DVD+RW(4x)and nero6 for burnng, the message "Burn process failed at 2.4x (3,312 KB/s)" appeared as follow. What should I do?

What does it means?

YOUR DMA IS NOT ON ????????????
****************************************
Is it because I did not insert the disc into the following CD/DVD drives?
CdRomPeripheral : RICOH CD-R/RW MP7200A IdeChnDr Port 0 ID 1 DMA: Off
CdRomPeripheral : SONY DVD-ROM DDU220E IdeChnDr Port 1 ID 1 DMA: Off
CdRomPeripheral : Generic DVD-ROM 1.0 d346prt Port 2 ID 0 DMA: Off

My pioneer DVR-106R was external drive and connected via USB.

I have download V1.08 firmware. It was installed unsuccessfully and there was no disc in the DVD/RW.

New Nero means what version of Nero?

hi there

the ? next to atapi is not good! its like its not sure if its there? also dma is better for speed and reading / writing discs!

go to device manager and change it to DMA on as it will be PIO.

now your firmware i am not sure why its not gone in, but cant remeber the install process, is it original? or hacked? check website for install instructions

do firmware last! as the above 2 are more important!

Nothing here to see, move along folks.
