salaam guys .. i have for example an anime episode size with high quality as 175.avi mb xvid i want to change it to around 35 - 50 mb .. i know the quality would be less but plzzz suggest a program and a format for it even if it is complex i'll understand just suggest a pro plzz..!!

as i need the highest possible quality and the less possible size as i said 35 - 50 mb and what format rm, AVI , mov .. etc.
plzzz just share ur knowldge with me..!

I would suggest mp4 with he AAC and AVC video. RV9 with he AAC in mkv would be another possibility.

for avc the best is nero recode, well at least doom9's test said so. you can try the demo version, playback with the latest ffdshow cvs is pretty good.

thanks for help! man .. i actually tried helix producer but i'm not that happy with the .rm encoding .. so is there a way to encode it to .AVI or .mkv by specifying the bitrate and the size wanted ..!!

You can remux the rm to mkv.

realanime has direct mkv muxing.
avi and real. i do not know if thats possible

It isn't. For AVI you need to use a VFW codec such as XviD, X264, VP 6.2, SNOW or WMV9VCM. On the audio side though you can mux AAC to AVI with AVIMuxGUI.

You can easily recode an AVI into a smaller AVI using GordianKnot :-)
