Rendering and burning in Photodex Photo Show Gold

I have had a continuing problem burning a Photodex slideshow to DVD. It renders fine and at the 8 second level it flips the blank DVD out of the disk with a "failed disk warning". Another coffee disk. I don't know if it is a bad song or a bad photo which causes this, but it happens time after time. This is about an 840 MB slideshow that shows 23 minutes of play time-it has about 315 jpeg photos and 5 songs.It quits burning with about 2 1/2 minutes remaining,about the duration of the last music. Has anyone had a similar problem with Photodex.??? It seems to be a great program, with a flaw that bothers me and has wasted a lot of my time.

I used Photodex because it could use "old" black and white photos. I have also used and love MemoriesToTV software, but they cannot work with old black and whites.

Thanks for any thoughts.
