Does Free HDLoader get saved in the System Configurations?

i have an unmodded PS2 model SCPH 39001, a 120 gig harddrive, a network adapter, a regular pen drive 1 gig, a copied HDLoader Advance, and Action Replay Max US ver.
first off i know i need a mod chip to use the burned HDL A, so i borrow my friends PS2 to download and play games on my hardrive.
now, i tried many times to get the memory card expliot to work so that i wont need to use my copy of HDLoader Advance or my friends PS2.
i tried burning cd-r s with Nero and i also tried to use my pen drive and my AR Max to copy files to my memory card. i noticed if i transfered the System Configuration file, using AR Max memory card manager, to my pen drive and plugged it in my PC it came out as a MAX file or save.
my question is, "if i succeeded at installing the mc expliot, is HDLoader saved in my System Configurations savefile on my memory card?" if so is it possible to copy the system configurations savefile and transfer it, from my PC through my PS2, into my memory card using only my my pendrive and the memory card manager part of my AR Max?
the only PS1 game i have is Final Fantasy VIII, the four disc set. the disc id s are as follows:
FF8DISC1 SLUS_008.92
FF8DISC2 SLUS_009.08
FF8DISC3 SLUS_009.09
FF8DISC4 SLUS_009.10
i would appreciate if someone can copy and send me a link to System Configuration savefile. or at least post a solution, broken down so that a dummy could understand, with only the given equipment. i m not after the memory card exploit, but the file that its saved on.
