ok i recently downloaded a movie and i added an episode of family guy to it and then i added it all together using windows movie maker (i believe the movie was avi and the epiosode of family guy was mpeg). I then used windows movie maker to save it to a dvd-r but when i tried playing it in normal dvd players it wouldnt play... i was wondering what i need to do to fix this so when i download a movie i am able to have it play in normal dvd players and work

You said you used Movie maker to join the 2 together. Did you convert the AVI to proper dvd format? AVI files won't play on a dvd player.
