No sound on Backuped DVD Movies

Grateful for any ideas, I am stuck

I have backed up a few DVD`s that were in .rar format. I unpacked them to a .img file. I then mount the .img file with Daemon Tools and then burn them with Nero 6.6.06, using the Copy DVD function. The burn process goes fine and I can play the newly created DVD on my PC, works with both WinMedia player and VLC.

But when I try to watch in on my standalone DVD (Centrum Gemini 350) only the comercials and the trailers plays with sound. I have the option to choose DTS or Dolby Digital 5.1, but it`s make no difference what I choose, still no sound on the movie.

The DVD media I am using is RiDisc but I have also tried a different brand but still no sound.

My DVD burner is a Nec ND-3520

Can anyone help please?
