After downloading a file, rather than extracting with Winrar and burning with Nero; is it possible to view the file on my pc or do I need a new standalone? My DVD player doesn't support VCD,SVCD. Also, after burning with Nero, should my pc play the VCD,SVCD or do I need a special player? Thanks

No the sectrion is good. Yes, in the \MPEGAV (\MPEG2 if SVCD) folder there's (are) the movie (s) ('riff file' with header). I think all players can play it (BSPlayer does) and you don't need to convert AVSEQ01.DAT --> movie.mpg with VCDGear, first.
