I've tried probably 3 different dvd buning programs, including:
Nero's vision express 3 great program too bad it doesn't burn worth ****.
Pinnacle Studio 9 same as above (very dissapointing)
TMPGEnc Dvd Author also did not work
It seems the more user friendly the program the less likely you will get a succesful burn.
I found a few people that use these forums suggested using Dvd Lab so I downloaded it and started using it and thought to myself what the hell did I get myself into? This program is very complicated well most of it anyway. The connections thing does not make much sense to me even tho I was able to get working via the small wizard that is included. Also making the menu is such a pain in the ass I really liked nero's setup of how to make the menu you can change text, colour, font, background image/movie sound/music very nice setup too bad it doesn't work. But anyways I finally go my movies setup then it said it needed to remove the audio from the videos I was a bit hesitant but I did it anyway put the video and audio file into each move segment clicked compile dvd it took it's time about 2-3 hours (same as all the above programs) then it said compilation done I took the dvd and seen nothing was burnt so I looked around a bit and seen a burn to dvd button I clicked on that and within another 20 minutes It was done the tray popped out I took the dvd put into my dvd player and the very crappy menu came up but atleast it was functional and the 3 videos I put on the dvd all work fine and the audio and picture are pretty damn good the audio and video sync are smack on two which really surprised me. Props to the creators of Dvd lab for making a dvd movie burning program that actually works the first time without much BS.
