All those suck for ps2,

http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm

Almost flawless burns with 95-100% reliable results:

PVC = Pioneer = (HARD TO FIND THIS ONE)
MXLRG01, MXLRG02 = Maxell =
MCC = Mitsubishi Chemicals )<-----------------VERBATIM MY CHOICE #1
TDKG02 = TDK Corp =...
TAIYOYUDEN or YUDEN = Taiyo Yuden =<--------------FUJIFILM (made in japan) MY CHOICE #2

Go to walmart and buy MAXELL.
Your just going to have problems using
sub-par media.

do you want to take that chance?
Sony outsources to MANY different vendors.
Some of them trerrible (CMC,Princo)
Better off to get one i listed that are
guarenteed to be good.

ver-12 is most compatible with +r for games,
Movies really dont matter.

Run dvd identifier on your sony disks,
and see who manufatured them.

I think you woukld be wasting time and money burning them as ps2 games
Save them for movies.
Run identifier on your dvd's and compare them
with the link i posted earlier.

ps2 does not play rw
(certain modchip will however it is BAD on the laser)

ps2 and xbox laser's are different.
(they have to be on order for the ps2 to play cd-r media)
Do what you think is best.
