If its a DVD burrner yes. But in order to use your PS2 games you got to have a fliptop or a MODchip installed in or on your PS2.

You can rip and burn with DVD Decrypter (freeware) http://www.dvddecrypter.com A friend of mine has the modchip and he can play the games just like the originals. He says he has the best results burning the games at 1X.

DVDXCopy is outdated and the company that produced it is bankrupt. There are continuing sales through http://www.dvdxcopy-international.com and some other places, but the software is grossly overpriced for an obsolete app.

GamesXCopy was the games backup app from 321 and I haven't seen that one available for a while. It wasn't that good when it was available. For games I suggest Alcohol 120% or the free DVD Decrypter http://www.dvddecrypter.com A friend of mine swears by the Decrypter. It rips and burns and is all you need for files under 4.37GB, which most of the games are.

DVDCopy3 is probably the best transcoder app, http://www.intervideo.com . Another good app to have is AnyDVD, read the product description at slysoft, http://www.slysoft.com . For a good freeware recording app try DVD Shrink http://www.dvdshrink.org .

The programs I mentioned are either freeware or have good trials to check out the programs. So, you don't need to buy anything up front to try them out. Nero works good as a burning suite and you can get a trial copy of that at http://www.N e r o.com (no spaces).

With DVDXCopy my attitude is use it if you already have it, but don't run out and buy it. The ripper (decryption software) is obsolete and requires additional software such as AnyDVD. It was developed before dual layer recording, so it's only good for 4.7 media. As I said, overpriced for what you get. Plus the Browse function in the program didn't work and you are limited to recording off discs and no hard drive files. Patches at http://www.dvdripforums.co.uk will cure the Browse flaw in the program and remove the annoying nag screens and 321 backup warning on the video.
