io error - "out of space?????"

I've downloaded Jak 3 to 96% but there is an io error - "out of space on device" or something to that effect.

Is this problem on my end? My hard disk has plenty of space, so I don't think that's the issue. The torrent is strong, so I assume it works for most downloaders. Can I do anything to fix this (i.e. "free up some space" maybe)?

I searched the forums but could not find the answer. Thanks for any help.
