loadsa threads about this , certainly in this forum. i've had this a coupls of times, once i simply used dvd decryptor to rip film, the other instance needed some work with IFOEdit , again i got this info from threads in here somewhere. Good luck

cheers Rich
ive done about 200 movies with shrink and never encountered any problems with any of them, this one is just driving me nuts.
as i say dvddecrypter rips it fine but shrink wont recognise the files or iso.

i remember now, the one i had the most grief with, was a foreign copy of 'the core'. it had exactly what the error said - invalid navigation structure. if i recall the disc had a folder missing (in windows explorer, only had the video_ts folder). had fun (not) following instructions for IFOEdit but got there in the end. your problem maybe be slightly different tho

Some of my friends had the same problems you guys are having with decryter and shrink. It must be in the settings, because I used both programs and i was able to get a backup of RE2. I ripped the movie to the hd using file mode. I put al those files in a folder. Then went to shrink and clicked on open folder, and just selected that folder and then i continued as usual (full disc mode), created an iso image on the hd, then burn it on a dvd-r with Nero. I noticed that decrypter inserted some dummy files on the folder while ripping the movie.

the problem i had with 'the core' was more that it wasn't an original, some kind of foreign copy

I'm not really sure what the problem was with this disc, but i had some problems as well. My first thought when decrypter failed was that the disc was dirty, so i cleaned it and it failed again.
I ended up tryin to read it like 3 more times and it finally worked all the way through. Then i ran it through Shrink and burned with Decrypter and voila.
Still don't know what the problem is, but it worked.

This topic has been beaten to death. There are loads of threads about it already so let's try a forum search before starting a redundant thread.
