Hi,
i will like to know what is a nero6 oem suite and what
can you do with it.
i see it on online for $5.00 to $20.00 and will
like to buy one.
but nero6 go for $80.00 to $100.00.can someone help me?

the nero6 oem suite is a rip-off right???

For that price, it might be a ripoff, but not necessarily. "OEM" likely means that it is a CD that shipped bundled with hardware. I don't know if it is possible for those to show up in legitimate distribution apart from the hardware, or not.

The Nero OEM suite doesn't include many of the plug-ins they list on their site (ie. for digital Dolby sound encounding and such). Think carefully before you buy it unless you will only be doing basic stuff.

On another note, I paid the price and upgraded my OEM copy and have been very disappointed. Many, many bugs. And you can't even create a DD 5.1 disc using their movie making studio (NeroVision Express).

I baught this version on ebay, I have to say that I was very disapointed. First I had to dowload 6 patches and then I used it only for basic task, like burning data on DVD or on CD. Before the update with the patches I can't even access to the DVD function. You have for what you paid $10.00 or so.
