DVD gets stuck during ripping...what to do???

I am trying to rip a football game that has been copied from a vhs tape to dvd but at a certain point during the game it gets stuck while its ripping. It also gets stuck when its playing but a few seconds later picks back up. Is there a way I can make it skip over that part of the game during ripping so it can finish the rest of it? I have tried file/read modes in dvddecrypter and open disk mode in shrink and both get stuck at the same spot. Its only a few seconds in the game but its enough to keep it from ripping.

Most likely there are crc read errors on the dvd. Try "ripping" it with DVD Decrypter. But first, go into Tools-->Settings--I/O and set DVD Decrypter to ignore read errors.
