I have my PS2 modded and I just tried to play online for the first time I have the actual copy of Socom2 and every time it starts logging me in it freezes and when I've tried any burnt games they keep getting an error message....can I go online at all with it???

It should if your modchip has a disable function.

Yah, for original games you need to disable your modchip for it to work.

For backups, you actually need to extract the dnas id info off of your original game with 'disc id utility'. Once you get that id, you have to patch it into the .iso image of the game, and TheN burn the backup.
