i need to know how to burn ninja gaiden. Its 5.88gb so its obviously to big to fit onto 1 dvd-r. any1 know any way to split it or put it onto 1 dvd-r by deleting certain files.

go into the files and look for some that look the same name wise. There will be some files with the exact same file names,except that the 'doubles' will have a 'j' in the name. these are video files and the ones with the 'j' are the japanese videos that you don't need. delete these files and it will be small enough for a single layer dvd.

i believe using DVD Shrink will shrink the files small enough to fit standered 4.7gb disk

What? DVD Shrink and Xbox games? I don't think so cuz that program is only for use with DVD movies.

If its for X-Box and you have Evox just FTP it to your xbox. Note: X-box needs to be connected to pc with a ethernet hub or crosslink cable to ftp.

Or you can extract it with a special xbox iso extractor. Thats what i use sometimes.

Listen to Br7!!! I use http://rahszhul.xhce.com and it will give you all the xbox live and language deletions!! This is a very good site for backing up monster sized games on single-layer dvd-r.

Well, responded too late to the post!! I guess you were able to back the game up to single layer dvd-r. Still use the site mentioned above if you were ever to have problems with large sized games.
