Ok, I have a Lite-On 832s and I have been downloading programs lately trying to find the best way to backup my DVD's. I don't know which program caused this but now my DVD drive will burn perfect DVD's from files on my computer but won't play some store-bought DVD's and all others I can't get sound from. When it won't play the DVD it will just search for it endlessly or will say no disc is inserted. I have my Nero dvd codec installed as far as I know, and I used Info Tool to make sure my drive is locked to region 1. I haven't tried re-installing Nero because I can't find my CD. And Nero says my ASPI is fine. Please help.
