Cannot Watch/Record Sky TV on my PC, WHY?!!?

Hi,

As in the subject I have a problem, this is the hardware I have:

Pc (obviously)
Sky Box
SmartTV LE PCI Adaptor Card - http://www.dabs.com/uk/Search2/Product+Details.htm?quicklinx=3HT1&searchphrase=tv
Scart -> S-Video (& headphone plug) - http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=35910&TabID=1&source=15&WorldID=&doy=10m2 (similar to this)

I have all the hardware installed with the scart going from the VCR output on the Sky box to the S-Video input on the TV card.

When I switch the software that came with the card to S-Video input I get no signal whatsoever! I dont get it!

I then tried the same setup but with the scart attached to the output on my VCR, still no signal!

What am I doing wrong!? Please help!!!
