I have two ps2 one slim with dms4 and one version 4 with duo 2, Im just thinking of give one to my little brother as a gift but I dont which one. The duo 2 vs4 have certain things it boot all ps2 disks but need to be certain media, and dont boot ps1 games, but the slim version boot any media and ps1 games, the only problem the slim have is the overheating problem , I have the last version but the console overheat very fast, please help.

You have heard of them overheating.. but have you ever actually touched yours? Mine doesnt overheat. it gets warm but nothing that would affect its performance.

my slim is overheating a little after I play like 1 hour, the old ps2 is fresh all the time, Im afraid what can be caused to the dvd backups as a result of the overheating.
