On the cd version of sm, does anyone know the difference between normal boot and special boot? Also, I had a question about PS2 Reality media player. I can't get it to work. I compiled with cdgenps2 and fixed the 16 bad sectors. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm not sure what the difference is. When my CD or DVD won't boot, I do a special boot and it usually works. That's all I know and it's all I need to know:)

to mooogle: you use the dvd disc when when your backup is on a dvd-r and the cd disc when your backup is on a cd-r. Almost all of the ps2 games are on DVD so you'll use the swap magic DVD disc a lot more. I mainly use the CD for emulators.

to cloner: To do a special boot you just press the "square" button on the controller instead of the "x" button when you're booting the disc.
