OMG GUYS!! I've been reading around this forum. Some people said it's good to install dms4, some summ0ne. and they still fighting over it. I also looked at solderless dms 4 chip. Now i'm confused. I also have v12 slim ps2. What will be the best chip to install that also won't burn the laser?? And what other fixes should I get?? I haven't played my ps2 for 3 months now :'(

Oh yeah 1 more thing. I'm not very experience with soldering (i did some on other home devices though). If you guys know where I can ask any experienced dude or store around San Diego or LA to solder my ps2 would be VEEERRRYYY appriciated...

all ur awnsers are right there... summ0nes is not a modchip... and no dms4 sux ass, and the ezi does not work with pstwo slim. plus it sux cuz people are having problems with it..
