i want to send a movie file to a friend via internet and the file
is 6.5MB but email is only 1MB can i do this the dvd2one? or
some other app? i tried and couldnt choose the file.. i have a
mac

i know of no program that can do what you ask.

Options:

1. Send 7 emails with the movie divided up between them.
Problems: Time consuming, too great a chance of errors.

2. Burn them to disc. You can do this using CD's and use a Mini-DVD format (unless you already have a format selected). It could also be done using DVD's. It would be easy to do, less of a chance of errors. If you are without a DVD burner then consider changing formats and do that Mini-DVD thingie. Also you could check with friends to see if one has a USB burner you could borrow for an hour or two to do the job.

i have a burner and all the goods. but i dont know how to burn with out going through DVD2One. I just tried dragging and dropping files into toast but this isnt working. I cant play them on a stand alone.and it isnt the media

Perhaps you had better start from the beginning -

What type of files do you have AND have you tried to search anywhere here to solve your dilemma ? I don't wish to go over old ground but it doesn't seem that you have a place to start -

Well u could always try converting the video to a different format, ex. wmv,AVI,xvid,rm just too name a few this should decrease the file size pretty noticeably
