Hello:

Hope it's OK to post this topic here? I have seen a few others mentioning this model writer!

I have an 'external' version connected to my PC via USB 2.0. I have made 4 successful burns out of 4 tries! But all is not perfect, having trouble playing them (Fuji DVD-R) in my standalone player. I think my last disk might be OK though? BTW, none of my backups have been compressed, all under 4.1 GB.

Just wanted to know if anybody has a 'winning' formula for this writer? Meaning brand/type media, shrink/burn settings and standalone player?

I have read some very unflattering reviews of the model but I think it relates to people trying to burn DL disks at higher speeds? Maybe it's an OK writer after all, hope so :)

Thanks, F43
