hi i'm new to all this.. i just purchased a pacific digital x-treme 16x.. i downloaded a movie by vod when i try to write it to dvd it says it is copy write protected!! i can watch it on my pc but it won't let me make a dvd is there any software or anything else that will decode this so i can write it to dvd??? i live in such a remote area i would like to purchase more dov if i can write them to dvd!!! can someone help me out with this if it is possible point me in the right direction.. thanks

hi

use DVD decrypter to ripp it to your hard drive in ISO mode!

you may have to shrink it to fit a dvd5 by useing dvd shrink , then output the file to dvd decrypter to burn it to dvdr.

PS what is a VOD and DOV file?

i do not have the dvd... i downloaded the movie from a website to my hard drive i can watch it on my pc but it will not let me write it to dvd help is there software for this ?? thanks

and this film you have what type format is it?

avi / mpeg2 / xvid / divx ...........

vod= video on demand.. a video i downloaded off a website it says it is a windows media audio/videofile.. or wma file i can open the file with real player.. but it won't let me burn it to dvd it says it is copy protected also i am using roxio software..to burn the dvd
