I just bought a new dvd burner, my old one broke.

the burner can burner a 4X dual layer dvd

Is there a software that can burner straight from a movie disk to a dual layer DVD.

Currently I compress my movies and then burner them.

I'm hopeing to find a software to burn without compressing that is legal in the us.

You're in luck. All you need is DVD Decrypter, which is freeware btw. It rips and burns, and is a GREAT piece of software.

All you do is rip the DVD9 to your HD in ISO read MODE. Then burn the ISO to a blank DVD9 using ISO write MODE.

ETA: If you find you like the software(and trust me, you will), you should consider giving a modest donation to the programmer who created it. Also, if you have any questions about the process, here is the url to the offical DVD Decrypter forums, where you can find very helpful and nice people to solve all your DVDD problems:

AnyDVD & CloneDVD2 works a treat and it does the new copy Protection on many new DVD,s
