ok i have the winhiip software.....the HDadvance software......dvd decryptor.....Alcohol 120......ps2 newest version (not slimline) the one that plays dvd-r dvd+r........and alos the PS2 version HDD 40g.....now what do i do.....do i have to take out the HDD and hook it up to my pc...if so how do i do that......and also how many games will i be able to load on the HDD since its the 40gig one?...thanx sooooo much guys

should i have just gotten a mod chip.....i can still get rid of the hd advance and get a mod chip if its easier

you will only get at the most about 8-10 games on the 40 gig hd, if you can, get a bigger one. you will need a network adaptor to plug the hd into the ps2. you will only need the winhip software and all the rest if you want to load games on to the hdd using the pc but its just as handy putting them on using the hdadvance2.0 disk. if you really want to do it through the pc then look through the forum theres step through guides in there. hope it helps

u can get alot more then 8-10 games on a 40 gig hdd. not only is there such things as smaller games. but u can also remove dummy files from the game images, (even language files) sometimes reducing the game size by half.
There are plenty of games below 2 gig. but i would recommend a larger drive.

if you put good games on then you'll only get ten on! most games that have less than 3/4gig are usually shit. theres no point fucking about with the game files either if your not sure what your doing.

I just got the hdadvance 2.0. I have a hard drive 40g (sony) and the ntwork adaptor. I insert the disc and the menu comes up. I downloaded 2 games but when i choose to run them , it doesn't work. what am I doing wrong?

you might need to change the modes ,there are three just highlight the game and push select. I usually try mode 3 first

Ok i need help.
I have a 40Gb seagate Hdd. and hd advance 1.0
My friend has a modded ps2 and imported games (NTSC) if i took my hdd to his house an put some of his imported games (NTSC) onto my hdd would i be able to take the hdd back to my house and play the games loaded at his house on my un-modded ps2.

it sucks that you cannot play online with these games. btw Fight Night Round2 works in mode 3. (advance2.0)

what is the best program for downloading games on your hdd? advanced or loader? also if i download them on my hdd will i be able to play them online? thanks for your help...And how many games out there r using the dvd9 becasue i heard the advanced and loader dont support that?thanks again
