ok, I have backed up tony hawk underground 2 same way I have backed up every other game perfectly, strange thing is when i load it up using swap magic, it plays perfectly - in black and white...
now this would be normal if it was a NTSC game (my ps2 is PAL) but the disc is a PAL disc.
I also patched the image with NTSC2PAL just incase it was.. it patched but when I load the game, i get the blue border and then it just freezes on a black screen.....

if i was you i would buy a s-cart cable. it turns NTSC to PAL and it is very usable. otherwise try to burn to a better media the patched game.(you can ask a friend to try it in their ps2)

thats the thing, I have burnt at 1x with verbatim, TDK and Sony and they have all done the exact same thing...
