Hello everyone,

I have a v4 w/ gap ps2. I purchased a duo 2 se chip and just soldered it in a couple of days ago.

Now before going into this venture i read several other threads trying to make sure i wouldnt run in to any problems.

I am using memorex -R disks and dvd decrypter to do all of my iso reading/writing. Now, for some reason when i place the burnt game into my ps2 (yes i am pressing eject button to power on) it acts like its going to play game but then goes to the the red screen of doom saying "please insert ps2 format disk".

I also modded a v5 using the same chip last night and it works like a dream. (I am using all the same stuff on it as i did the v4 ... (same disks, same program etc.) So if someones has any ideas why the v4 isnt working i would really appreaciate it !
