on the Clean section of fchan (a furry forum and picture storeage/sharing facility), they had a Weird Animal Pix topic about 4 months ago...i downloaded a few, and loved that one :D

yes i am, daniel :D
it's the whole sci-fi, fantasy aspect of it. i love the idea of being something more than human. the stories written and read in the community are often entertaining and well done (i have a list for you that i bet you'd like), and, to me, the art can be fantastic.
now, i'm not one of the nuts that thinks we're all animals inside, clawing to get out. and i'm not one of the 1% of furs into bestiality; however, i do think we all have the stereotypical traits of a given species, and many people like to embrace this image. personally, i like wolves; i have many personality traits similar to wolves, and have been told i resemble one (guess you have to see me in real life, not on the pic here on AD).
besides, it's just cool. i'm a nerd, i'll admit it. i'm a headbanging, straight-A, speed-loving, incense-burning, trivia-knowing nerd who loves anthro stuff :D
i blame the Eqyptians. XD
