@Noelyf and GM... get your butts/arses down here now! You might get a tad red..but hey that's how we recognise you at the beach! LOL
Lifesaver1 to lifesaver2...
"Where the bloody hell are they mate?"
Lifesaver 2 "just look for the red bits mate... the bastards will be there somewhere"
Lifesaver1 Laughs out loud and rolls on the dingy' floor and says.. "is it the yanks or poms?"
Lifesaver2 "what's their credit rating mate?"
Cheers all.

Hey to DesB..Handle 33c? Lemme guess.... your somewhere north of england?. In all seriousness, 33c is an above average day for this time of year... but when it gets to and above above the mid to late forties...then you could be in trouble! Even worse when your out in the sticks. (let's set aside the Ocker euphemisms for now) to go WALKABOUTS in the bush is a great adventure..and that's a given yeah?
We need to talk about the times of year you wanna "go bush" Please be advised by your "agent". Too many have perished in one way or another, because of the lack of information or stupidity of others. The Australian outback can be many things to many people... all i ask is that you do it right..do it well and have one of the most exhilarating experiences of your entire life. She is beyond beautiful... she just is.
This post went for a little longer than anticipated.. and no i'm not a Qantas agent..LOL
One last thing however..I saw an english program here and there was something about pointing the bone! I remember it because it didn't sound right. Pointing the bone is an Aboriginal saying for "don't blame it on me" or "I blame it on you" So if I point the bone at you..it aint nothin' to do with a boner and the like ok? it's just that I lay blame.
Cheers all.

Hi Onya,
Thats a lovely name, in Irish it means "get on" as in Onya..bike, a lovely name indeed, I wouldnt know what to do with 40c that would be so hot, I remember once in the history class that we were told about a heatwave once and it reached an astounding 32c it was so hot and humid that day that the well in our village ran dry!
We often go collecting Sticks (is it the same meaning) for our fire for the winter time, we are hoping to have central heating ( I think its called ) before Christmas in our Village,
No we are not in the North of England ... We are a little country called Ireland, A Beautiful little place, I went to England once, The people speak different to us, and they have Cars and buses and big multi storey houses ( Big families) Is it like that in in Australia,
Did you ever meet my childhood hero Skippy? Remember the Bush Kangaroo I remember we had to go down to Uncle Johnsie,s house to watch it after school, as he was the only person in our Village with Television, it was a treat,at the time,Theres a thing that has been bugging me now for years, can you tell me who was Skippy,s Father? was it The Bush Ranger or the Police Sargeant, We have had loads of arguements on this, and are still none the wiser, i remember sitting round the fire one night for hours on end trying to figure it out, perhaps you will enlighten us!!!
Ok gotta go Hope to talk soon ...Slan.. oh thats Irish for goodbye
This was uncle Johnsies house in the village! obviously he doesnt live there any more, his eldest Son has sold it to a property developer, to build a shopping center,
