i have 3 xvid videos and cannot play them back i tryed down loading codecs like ff-divx-but still no joy please help..

Try installing XviD.

Should also point out that simply having XviD installed does not mean that it will be used to decode. Directshow works on a priority system, if another filter (say DivX) has a higher priority/merit then it will still be used.

ff-divx? You mean DivX or FFDShow? Recent builds of FFDShow should work fine for XviD decoding.

i think it may be something other than codecs or players (mybe?) it says this about 1 of them VIDEO---codec:XVID---BITRATE:61751---WIDTH:352---HEIGHT:240

BUT NOW WHEN I PLAY IT, IT SAYS THAT IT IS 0.00 LONG??? I WOULD NOT MIND IF IT WAS 1 VIDEO BUT 3 AND FROM DIFFERANT SORCCES I JUST DONT GET IT??? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

PCM audio? The video can't be very large. Looks like a fake to me.
