Memory card exploit trouble with hitachi 250gb drive

Samsung 160GB I installed the mem card loader using everything you need but I had to convert my save to a *.max file and it worked but I had to choose R1 and select memory first.
Get an error usually htat says failed to mount file system:hdd0:pp.HDL.Final Fantasy X2
Sometimes it's GTA SanAndreas

Copied samsung drive to Hitachi 250GB using winhip and it want boot past the cdvd.irx line, I think it loads that line since it is the last one I see.
I can't figure out why it hangs there.
Any help I would appreciate it.

I am using the 48LBA.
