Alternate soldering points for vias on duo 2 SE???

Does anyone know if there are some alternate soldering points I could use instead of the B-I via points that I have to connect to duo 2 SE.

I HATE soldering via`s, but there seems to be no other way for the v9 ps2..

Any bright people out there that have any suggestions??

What do you guys think about the duo 2 SE chip btw?

the via's are the "alt" points . the onlt other place is the chip legs on the cd/dvd controller chip which are harder .

Those points are what I`m looking for.. Do you know which chip legs they should be connected to?

I`ve chipped 4 previous ps2, all working fine. 2 v3, 1 v7 and 1 v9, all of which I used these chip legs, but I don`t know the points for the legs on the duo chip, there are only the vias to choose?

Do you have a picture or a schematic of the cd/dvd points...Would help a bunch! Thanks for the answer!
