I'm a technotard, guys. Technologically challenged... I just got a Motorola V220 and want to use the Phone Tools software. I downloaded ver 1.23 and the latest one - 3. something. I have a data cable, use Win XP pro and everytime I have tried to install software I get an error message that "telephony cannot be started" or something.
I tried installing the 1.23 version as someone suggested and then the latest version but nothing works. I don't even really know how to use the software but it looked interesting. Being old, I have a hard time learning all this new stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated but it must be pretty basic and easy to follow. Pretend you're explaining it to your grandma..... Tell me what to download, where and how. Do I need drivers? Which ones and where do I get them?
