If you love something set it free, if it comes back it is yours and always was, if it doesn't HUNT IT DOWN AND KILL IT !!!

How do you use WinAVI to combine two AVI files?

I have tried the convert feature but all it does is rewrite the individual AVI files without combining them

anyone know?

Use the free conversion tool in DvdxToDVD, and change the AVI format to dvd, then use DVDshrink in re-author mode to join the two.

OK, I have converted them both to DVD and opened Shrink in re-author mode and loaded both directories into shrink

I dont see a selection to combine, whats the command or selection i need to make

also I didnt know that converting AVI to dvd creates two directories for audio and video files

thanks

If you used DvdxToDVD to convert the AVI files, It creates it's own folder, if you use Shrink to access that
you don't need to worry about the contents of the TS_Folder.

Here's a good guide by bbmayo. http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/join2movies.htm
