Hi all,
I have a Canon MV630i that is connected to my laptop by a firewire cable.
I downloaded some software however to use this camera as a surveillance cam (Bironsoft Webcam/CoffeeCup cam).
Problem is that the output of my camera is not captured by this software?
Eg. when using Bironsoft without the camera connected I get the message no webcam detected. When I connect the camera and select the only option available in source being "Microsoft WDM capture" I don't get this message so the camera is detected but still - a grey screen appears. (I removed the lenscap!)
When trying Ms Messenger, I select webcam options and the video output from the camera is displayed without problems and even without selecting "Micrsoft WDM capture" as source.
Can anyone help me out here?
I'd really love to use the mentioned soft since it as software motion detection built-in.(other software suggestions to accomplish the same are ofcourse welcome!)
Thanks!
David
