greetings all... I'm pretty new to backing up game DVD's for my ps2.

I've got no problem backing up any games so far thanks to the many reccommendations of dvd decryptor & nero...

but I was backing up my copy of NFS:underground 2 & everything was going great so I decided to play a little online. I'm sure many of you know it reads me out some error code & says to call SCEA with the error code... well I'm not doing that.

What can I do to be able to play my back-up online? is there anything I can do? Anyone who can help me please let me know in step by step instructions

To play your backups online, you need to get the dnas id off of your original game disc, and insert it into your .iso file before you burn the backup.
You need to d/l a 'disc id utility' and burn it to disc.
I don't play online, so i haven't tried using it, but there are enough tutorials around here i'm sure.

yeah I found a nice one... but it's for both CD & DVD games... it starts out pretty cleary then trails off into only CD from what I understand...

I downloaded my game since Alcohol 120% couldnt read it since it was scratched (left it on for a day, it had only increased 5% and then had given me an error)

when i try taking the dnas id off of my original disk, it gives me an error

how am i supposed to play online now?

(the game is need for speed underground 2)
