I bought network adapter and decided to throw in an old 120 gig hard drive. Now i downloaded a copy of hdloader off of the internet but whenever i start it up and put it in the screen turns red and say please insert a playstation 2 disc. Now to use this disc would i need swap magic, or would it be cheaper just to buy the official hdloader discs?

that actully would be a better idea cause if you have those you can always get updated version of the hard drive loader program from the internet instead of having to buy newer versions of the program down the road. never know there might be a reason to do that someday.
