XBox recalls Power Cord

Has any one seen the emails going around claiming XBox is recalling some power cords, I got one in my email and my question is, is this true or is someone pulling a fast one, have any one in here got anything like this , Thanks for all your help.

yes its true there doing this because xbox's made before october 2003 have some problems and the cords may start a fire so if anyone has an xbox like this you better apply for a new cord at www.xbox.com
