I am trying to burn an avi file to dvd using nerovision 6.6.0.6. When I add the avi file that I want to burn I get the following error:The instruction 0x006adf64 @ memory 0x01423918 could not be read.

That error message isn't very helpful. (It looks like a page fault.) You'll have to provide more details about what you were doing, how you were doing it, etc.

I added my AVI file to the project it checked the file and just before the next button wwas available it errored out with the above error.

Try turning off the "burn at once" option. That was causing that error for me.

I was wondering if someone can help me here:

I cant seem to burn DVD with NeroVision.
I used Cucusoft to convert my AVI's to MPEGs.
I use NeroVision and imported and made chapter/menu.
When i try to burn i get this follow errors in my log:


[19:04:19] DVDEngine INFORMATION
[19:04:19] DVDEngine cause: 26 (empty_disc)
[19:04:19] DVDEngine source: IDVDSessionBaseImpl
[19:04:19] DVDEngine description: Disc is unformatted.


i am just using a brand new disk

Please help..

I don't think the "burn at once" applies in your case.

It sounds like NVE is having trouble with AVI file in question. Can you play it in a media player okay?

You might try converting it with VSO's DivxtoDvd which you can get here:

Note that this is a "one-click" conversion that will create the output in dvd format (VOB, et al.). If your plan was to combine this AVI with others, and VSO's software works, you can just read the resulting VOB into NVE.
