Im having a problem burning Hero. Here's what Im doing. I open up a media player to recognize the dvd open up DVD shrink close the media player then rip hero (it saves hero in ifo, vob, bup) it saves the files not in a video_ts/audio_ts folder. then DVD shrink automatically opens Nero and burns hero on a DVD. When I put hero into my DVD player it would get stuck on the reading screen until I eject the disc. I think its because DVD Shrink cant rip newer 2004 DVD's. Anyways can someone help me out and if DVD shrink is the problem can you point me in the direction of another program.
Wassup TikiGuy. When I first started burning dvds, I encountered the same problem as you, but thankfully, I was able to over come it, and I just burned Hero yesterday with no problem, so it can be burned. Here's what you need to do. First of all, download DVD Decrypter if you don't have it. Next, open your dvd up in DVD Shrink, select backup, then select "ISO Image File and burn with DVD decryter" from the "Select backup target" drop down menu. Once the files are through burning to your hard drive as an ISO image file, DVD Decrypter will open up and you can then begin burning the files to disc. Hope that this helps.
Yeah, I had a similiar problem with Hero. Decrypter wouldnt work either on the WHOLE disc. But it did work on just the movie with no problems. Go to this thread,http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/156320 , and follow the instruction at the bottom and you should be able to rip just the movie okay
