I have been browsing sites for about a week now and it seems that most Modded Slim Line PS2's burn out pretty fast. Should I just try to find a site that premods old PS2's or what is the deal with the slim line mods? I heard the best chip is this muppet chip but I can't find any premods for it. And the one I was looking to get is the Matrix Infinity. Any help?

hey, yeah the problem is the mod chip... go to
mod-chip.com and click on the PS2 section and they sell this like chip that can be soldered onto the motherboard that will prevent the laser from burning up... hope it helps
