I use dvd decrypter at first then Nero Recode 2 to sort and cook my dvd's. Should I be using DVD Shrink also to make the files smaller or does Nero Recode do the same job?

Nero Recode does the same thing.In fact imho it does a better job then DVD Shrink.

Thanks very much for the fast reply Jim, I thought it was the same sort of thing but wasn't sure. I wanted some confirmation from people who have been doing this stuff for longer than me.

No problem,as a matter of fact, the guy that created DVD Shrink, is now working for Nero, on Nero recode.

jim_dandy: regarding your little message that pops up. I assume that this is a bad thing that you can read where I am coming from? I know my system transmit data to who knows where, but is this cause for concern? I run A/V and firewall, but you can never be too careful.

Sorry, did not make myself clear. I know "you" can't see, but anyone else reading this thread can see. At least I assume (I know) that they can see. Just curious about it.

whoever looks at anything I post, sees there own info,for instance orbiter5,see his info, on the same sign you are seeing yours.NOBODY SEE'S IT BUT YOU.

Thats WRONG,everybody see there own specs, nobody can see anyone else's
