X3 solderless intallation question

I recently screwed up my mobo and i am wondering what i did wrong...i got the X3 chip and the solderless adapter...now with the solderless adapter is all i have to do put the pinheader on and put chip and place. Or do i have to solder the 3 green red and grey wires to the back of the mobo?

visit team xecuter's website, they have tons of guides.


why would you not check the maker of the chip website? does anyone know how to use google?

thanx for the tip..but i have and they have not come out with a X3 solderless adapter guide..i checked out a x2 guide but it only shows how to coneect it correctly with the motherboard and chip./.......thanx n e ways
