just hooked up my modchip and it says error o9 call customer support for assistance what do i do to fix this

Error 8-9

Your Xbox motherboard is having trouble communicating with the Hard Drive. Check cables, this is probably due to an ATA controller on the motherboard and not due to the hard drive itself. (my personal experience, try replacing the hard drive and see how it goes) My recommendation for most is to replace the Motherboard and Hard drive as a pair.

no if you just installed a modchip then one of your cables are probably lose or un hooked check them then it you can fix it

i am getting this error too trying to put a new hdd in, previously i had a hdd with no problems in it... not sure what it is.

I would go back to the origional HD to prove it one way or the other.
