movie not fitting on dvd media?

I backup up a movie using dvd shrink and it compressed it to 4.59gig. I only have single layered burner so how do I make this movie fit?

How much are you compressing?

4.59 gigs will not fit the standard DVD-5 blank disc. 4.4 gigs is around the max.

Go open up dvd shrink:
Edit
Preferences
click on DVD-5 and set backup target to custom.
Enter 4360 mbs in the field
OK.

Your backup target is set.If you run into problems at the end of your backups,you can further reduce it to 4300 mbs. Most of us keep that target to prevent burning the outer edge of disc. This will help prevent problems in case you run into uneven dye.
