if i buy a hard drive that is compatable with my ps2 do i have to install it or do i jus connect it and it will work?

If you want a hard rive to back-up your games then us HDAdvance to do so. At http://www.hdadvance.com/index.html
Then you need to buy a PS2 online adapter to power the hard drive. Probably should use Maxtor 200gb is the biggest size right now for HDAvance 2.0. The software runs about $35 or so.

you can olso get free HD loader just go to google and search for memory card exploit or MC exploit . and if you r lucky you'll find a good website to learn how to use and install it to your memory card.....
