Has anyone else noticed that the new Ritek 16X's only list a top available burn rate of 8X? This seems to prevent the drive from burning at 16X because Nero and DVD decrypter don't seem able to manually set for a burn rate for which there is no descriptor. Does anyone know a workaround?

Yes, I have the latest firmware but the issue seems to be that the discs do not provide a write descriptor for 16X.
