hp dvd300i 4x problems

Ok i have a hp 300i 4x dvd writer in burns perfect to 4x maxwel but when i put in a 8x memorex it only burns about 20 min of video it burns at 4x witch is the max speed of burner
I bout a 30 pack and only 1 burned the whole way

i thought it was my burner but ........
i tried a old sony dvdrw 2.4x i erased it and burnt a movie it worked like a charm so memorex sucks ass... waste of money

memorex 4x work fine people say Only buy 4x media

but with newer drive up to 16x out 4x has almost disapeard

Okay now apears that sony dvdrw 2.4x are working

just bought 10 pk of maxwell had same dame problem


just burns about 20 min of video to disk but the disk continuse to burn with no errors detected

Disk will play first 20 min on maxwells
but sony dvdrw works great
i have the latest firmware for it
dvd300i firmware 3.20
